Hafura means breath, spirit and breath of life.
We exist to be a breath of life — impacting, uplifting, and transforming the stories of women in vulnerable situations through holistic care: spirit, soul, and body.
What we do
We foster a safe and welcoming environment where women find opportunities to strengthen their identity and faith, gain skills, and generate income. Our commitment is to welcome and equip women so they can transform their own stories — and their communities.
How it happens
How it happens
We establish ateliers in partnership with local institutions, offering women holistic training. This unfolds in three dimensions:
● Spiritual: Bible-based devotionals, group activities and discussions, prayer, home visits, and biblical counselling.
● Soul: psychology groups with interactive dynamics and group conversations.
● Body: technical classes (sewing, embroidery, fabric crochet, crafts, literacy, and other training).
We also encourage income-generating projects such as creating tableware items, bags, clothing, and other products — always respecting the local culture and context.

At Hafura, we believe transformation happens when people and institutions unite around a common purpose. We are privileged to walk alongside partners who host our ateliers — spaces where our ideas and actions come to life.
MIAF, in Hurri Hills (Kenya), and Instituto Esperança, in Londrina (Brazil), have embraced us as part of their own stories, opening doors, offering structure, and making it possible for our ateliers — and life transformation — to exist.
An interdenominational mission agency founded in 1895. With a presence in about 30 African countries, its mission is to plant Christ-centered churches among unreached peoples, mobilizing and equipping missionaries from various denominations.
